The short answer
A repeated video-selfie screen can mean an upload problem, an incomplete check or a new verification request. Record what happens after submission, review any confirmation and follow the current instructions. No device trick or fixed waiting period is a reliable universal fix.
Separate three different situations
First establish what Instagram actually shows. Does recording fail before upload? Does the upload appear to complete but return to the start? Or do you receive a message saying the identity check was unsuccessful? These situations need different descriptions.
Video selfies can appear in different verification contexts. Meta has described their use for account recovery; this does not mean every selfie request follows the same process or leads to account reinstatement. An identity check and a decision about a restriction are separate matters.
Check recording and upload conditions
Follow the instructions on the current screen. Check camera permission, keep the face visible and use a stable connection. Update the official app if needed. Avoid filters or alterations that interfere with an accurate submission.
Record whether the problem occurs while recording, uploading or after you see a completion message. A screenshot of the error and the app/device version can help describe a technical fault. Keep identity material private and submit it only in the relevant platform flow.
Look for a confirmation before resubmitting
Check the email account associated with the request, including filtered messages, and any status shown by Instagram. A completed upload is not the same as a completed review. Follow any stated instructions or deadline rather than replacing them with a waiting period suggested in a forum.
Keep a simple timeline of your submissions. If the same screen reappears without a clear outcome, say exactly that. Do not describe it as a rejected appeal unless Instagram has actually rejected the appeal.
Test carefully without losing remaining access
If the official recovery route offers an alternative in a browser, you can check what it displays. Preserve an existing working session and avoid repeatedly switching accounts, devices and contact details at once. A change is useful only if it helps identify the failing step.
We do not recommend a factory reset or buying a new phone as a standard fix for a selfie loop. Nor can a provider promise approval merely because the picture was accepted. Use the missing-code guide if the process stops at SMS or email instead.
Send a precise description through available support
Use the support or recovery options available to your account. Meta describes an evolving account-support experience, so the same buttons will not necessarily appear for every person.
A useful description includes your username, the date the loop started, whether a restriction is also shown, the stage that repeats and any confirmation received. Include an existing case reference if you have one. Do not attach identity documents or a selfie to Kahyalar Solutions’ initial enquiry form.
If the underlying appeal has been rejected
A rejected appeal requires a separate assessment of the account restriction and history. Kahyalar Solutions examines additional recovery and escalation options beyond the ordinary appeal. Our linked price list applies only to accounts with no appeal submitted; rejected appeals receive an individual quote.
Read the rejected-appeal guide and our pricing conditions before ordering. If the account was hacked, include that history as well. Getting past a verification screen is one step, not a guarantee that every remaining issue is resolved.
